2008-2009- Library Consultant Tom Jewell completes a space program and analysis, indicating the the library needs to grow.
2010- A $64,000 warrant article was proposed for schematic designs. Received over 45% of the vote, and was narrowly defeated.
2011- Architects were contacted and they provided a more economically feasible solution.
2012-
2014- Capital Campaign kicked off in earnest.
2015- CIP Approved for site plan and revision
2016-

2012-
- June: New warrant article was put forth and approved for $17,000 to be matched by trustees for conceptual designs.
- July: Planning with Staff, SSA, Trustees, Town Leadership, and FoL began.
- August: After public input, a design for a renovation and 12,000 square foot expansion was created.
2014- Capital Campaign kicked off in earnest.
2015- CIP Approved for site plan and revision
2016-
- Summer: Presentation to selectmen and request to put forth a warrant article for a $4.8 million dollar bond to work with the $761,000 in gifts and in-kind donations to renovate and expand the library. Selectmen opted to complete public safety building first, and then review library project in the future.
- Fall: Approached by local charitable foundation to match up to $500,000 for a more modest project that could be started with existing funds
